Until now, there hasn't been a good way to combine all your feeds into a single gadget on Google Desktop. But now Google Reader has recently being added as a gadget in the Google Desktop directory. It is one of the most desired, important and demanded gadget by the users who love to read their favourite site's content right from their desktop using RSS Feeds.



How to Read your favorite RSS Feeds using Google Reader gadget on Google Desktop ?

1) To install Google Reader gadget you must have installed Google Desktop first. Get your Google Desktop installation file from Google Desktop site. Install Google desktop. Those who are already using Google Desktop go to next step.

2) Once you have installed Google desktop on your computer. Go to Google Reader gadget download page; download and install the gadget;

4) once you have added it to you Google Desktop sidebar now your RSS feeds will automatically be shown in your Google Desktop sidebar.

You can choose to see updated feeds or all of your subscribed feeds. If you select a subscription, your gadget will update automatically with new posts. Clicking an item opens a larger view where you can see the item preview and perform familiar actions such as star, share, and email.

The Google Reader gadget runs with the latest Linux and Windows releases of Google Desktop gadgets and is open sourced under the Apache 2.0 license.
